Our girls classes are separated by the following age groups:
- 5-7 yrs (Beginner)
- 7-9 yrs (Beginner - Intermediate)
- 10 & up (Beginner - Intermediate)
Each class includes a 5 minute warm up, 4 events for 12 minutes each, and a 5 minute cool down.
There are also advanced girls classes, called Girls Advanced Class. This class meets for one hour and twenty minutes, once a week. There is 20 minute of conditioning, strength and flexibility, 20 minutes of tumbling and 40 minutes of beam, vault, bars or trampoline.
There is also a more advanced girls class, Girls Front Flip, which meets for 2 hours once a week. There is also a girls competitive program. For more information on these programs please contact the office.
We teach all the girls Olympic events, as well as trampoline and the boys Olympic events.- Tumbling skills are taught on floor exercise.
- Trampoline for basic coordination and spatial awareness.
- Balance Beam- Basic dance skills and basic mounts and dismounts, as well as basic tumbles.
- Vault- Development of the run, hurdle, jump, and landings, as well as basic vaults.
- Uneven Parallel Bars- Upper body strength through support skills and basic swing.
- The boys events, for fun and some more upper body strength.
Children are tested on their skill development once a month, providing both instructors and students with specific individual goals.
